New hires could be offered as much as a $1000 bonus for signing up to help manage the “overly unexpected” surge in US travel – and TSA is being very generous with overtime incentives!! TSA is currently telling travelers to get to the airport 3 hours early for security screening — travelers need to pack extra patience!!
Yes — Starbucks is “struggling” both at airports and worldwide ground locations with product shortages — especially iced green tea lemonade — it seems to be everyone’s favorite beverage of choice these days!!!
Maybe in the coming weeks — the 27 member European Union is “slowly” looking to welcome back vaccinated US travelers in the coming weeks after the COVID lockdown was responsible for a $400 BILLION HIT to inbound travel revenue from the US. American Airlines will discontinue its inflight magazine — “AMERICAN WAY” this summer after more the 50 years of publication —- they say they will provide more electronic options to travelers through their inflight entertainment systems. No doubt other carriers will be making similar moves with their inflight pubs … sorry to see the airlines “dispatch” these once popular onboard reading treats!!!!

Peacocks seem to be running wild throughout southern California these days — no need to head to the zoo when you might find flocks roaming the streets, especially in the Pasadena area where their “relocation” program was suspended during the Pandemic. Beautiful YES, troublesome YES, sometimes aggressive YES, loud YES (especially early morning and late at night) – and the city now reports a “proliferation” of Parrots along streets and in neighborhoods. No doubt southern California is for the birds!!!
