Alaska Airlines begins flying nine new routes to popular vacation spots

A study, conducted by New York Travel Guides, compared data from more than 500 small towns across America and ranked them according to three main criteria: the popularity of the town in the winter, the weather and the seasonal activities available. The resulting list of 110 places is a guide to the most winter-friendly destinations to visit this season.

The Hyatt Place, such as the one at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, has told guests that housekeeping is not an option, but instead you can choose to receive points, a drink at the bar, or plant a tree at the hotel. Wonder if you have to bring your own gardening equipment???

A woman heading to the Austin Airport was frustrated with how long it was taking to get from her hotel to the airport. So she grabbed the driver’s phone and threw it out of the car. The driver stopped the car and got out to retrieve the phone. So she jumped into the driver’s seat and drove off.  (Wonder if she still had to pay the fare?)

A Russian passenger flew from Copenhagen to Los Angeles on Scandinavian flight 931 last month despite not having a ticket, passport, or visa. He’s being called a stowaway, but he wasn’t hiding. Once he arrived at US Customs in LAX, both he and the agents seemed confused as to how he even got on the plane in the first place.

Footage captured a Spirit Airlines passenger climbing over another man in the aisle after the plane landed and taxied to the gate. He didn’t want to wait to get off the plane, and the man ahead of him apparently wasn’t moving fast enough for him.

American Airlines passengers report being sent to London instead of New York on Sunday when their flight from Antigua was oversold. They wound up having to cross the Atlantic twice, flying Antigua to London Gatwick overnight and then were booked to fly London Gatwick to New York JFK all on British Airways.
