Most major carriers remote your call to ether an east coast or mid west call center. And with phone traffic, less reservations staff have more time to listen and work on better prices. Be somewhat flexible with your travel days and times — you might have to make a stop along the way but that could save you hundreds of dollars — with most airports less crowded in the early AM. What’s the hurry anyway?!
