Yup — especially hotel bills when checking out — extra “unannounced” fees — like room cleaning charges of $50 as well as the ever popular and sneaky “resort fee” could be showing up — some airlines even adding extra fees for carryon luggage and printing a boarding pass — be mindful and travel smart!!!

That’s the word from Air New Zealand — they will be adding a “bunk bed” section to selected long haul flights starting in 2024! They say sleep researchers tell them “bunk beds offer a more restful sleep and more sleeping space.” Something to look forward too???
New research says global warming has contributed to growth in California’s Rattlesnake population —although the Golden State lost over a 100,000 residents who moved out of state, it has gained “tens of thousands” of rattlesnakes that love the hot arid climate — seven different species make up the growth spurt — and these snakes can change their body temperature to suit area climate. Be safe — and look around and down especially on trails — and in garages (a favorite hiding and rest spot) for these unwelcome visitors!!!

Yup — would seem so — a billionaire from the United Arab Emirates has built the world’s biggest Hummer. The two-story vehicle comes complete with a toilet and sink, it runs on 4 diesel engines, is 46 feet long and has a “top speed” of 19 miles per hour ……Hi ho hi ho — it’s off-roading we go!!!
YUP — Nearly 14 MILLION people traveled in the US just on Labor Day. Monday-Sept 5 … and that’s a post Pandemic record — will this travel “wave” continue??
