Will popular to-go cocktails expand to airports?
Pandemic era food to go (and cocktails to go) has helped keep many restaurants in business — now we learn that a couple of US airports are exploring allowing in terminal food service outlets to try the same — does that mean you’ll be able to take your “cocktail to go” on your flight???
WHAT?! Miami rated BEST Airport in the USA????
Really? I don’t think so. Looks that way — once alcohol service resumes (already has in first and business class) … with most carriers replacing the bottles with mini, individual wine can service. Easier for both flight crews and food service staff to handle … Wonder if you’ll need a can opener???
Southwest to offer complimentary drink mixes but no alcohol?
Seems off — but, someone got excited at Southwest and ordered loads of cocktail mixes, anticipating that drinks with alcohol would once again be sold. NOPE — NO booze being sold in coach on US carriers and might be a long dry time before sales resume — so enjoy the cranberry juice and other fancy drink mixes but no “pick me up” included!!!
WATCH OUT! LA area has pesky new visitors?
Climate change has made the LA area more “hospitable” for airborne insects — especially mosquitos. Folks say, “they’ve never experienced mosquito bites like this,” with the critters moving into town from Asia and Africa. These critters can live in ponds of standing water for months before becoming airborne — well, southern California is home to just about everyone!!!
