Maybe — a couple of new bills have been introduced in both The House and Senate to mandate that ANYONE boarding a US flight be vaccinated for COVID — no vaccination no flight … we’ll watch and see if this flies.

Yup, looks like the more “overpriced” upscale shops normally found at airports maybe be disappearing — in favor of “grab and go” food, beverages, small gift merchandise and even vending machines that dispense hot foods (full size pizza, pasta dishes, stuffed potatoes) and more. with the lack of flight food service options passengers will be bringing their own “picnic” on board — the TC recently saw a passenger carrying six full-size pizza boxes onboard a 6 plus domestic flight – messy and smelly!!!
Alaska and TSA are testing a new airport security reservation program that allows passengers to make an “appointment” for passing through TSA security — the test is taking place ONLY at the carrier’s Seattle hub, and so far results are positive — so good in fact, appointment time is being expanded from 24 hours to 72. Will the test program “fly” with other carriers and at additional airport locations???
Fares from the U.S. could be $350 each way — with some business class tickets under a $1000 round trip. BUT — know COVID restrictions for your final destination AND any intermediate transit stops. Do your travel homework and don’t be surprised!!!
