As temperatures drop and virus infections increase — including the new omicron variant — several European destinations are adding new travel requirements. Austria is basically “locking down” (virus cases are UP over 140%) for both locals and travelers — including mandatory quarantine for ALL visitors — and maybe self-quarantine on return or entering the US (tougher rules may be required for non-vaccinated travelers).
