Many US carriers our “doubling down” to squeeze more money out of their passengers — by charging any coach passengers for ANY bag or briefcase they carry on. US carrier bag fees hit 20 BILLION plus last year — and the carriers look at this as a simple and easy way to pick up even more revenue —some might add an early boarding incentive as part of the deal???
