January 28, 2016: Uber has partnered with Airbus to meet a demand for ride-sharing helicopter rides. Not sure who’s demanding this, but my guess would be New Yorkers or Angelenos looking for more creative ways to get around the city faster. Though this plan will supposedly make helicopter rides more affordable, I imagine it will still be out of reach for the standard commuter. I guess in these uncertain economic times, even Donald Trump and the Monopoly guy are looking to cut back on expenses where they can.
