Many of the major theme parks in the country have yet to open – with others that did seeing very low attendance. Disney is even cutting back hours at its Florida Parks opened earlier in the summer — California Disney Parks seem to be postponing opening dates on a “rolling basis”. And some Parks in “sunbelt” states won’t open at all. Most US theme parks that do open, except Disney, most likely will open only on weekends. As of now, forget about holiday special events at theme parks — unless they use their massive parking capability for drive-in movies — and the TC says “do that and do it for free” to thank loyal park goers for all their support ($$$$”s) over the years!!!
