Using face-only ID, the new system is being tested in Atlanta and reports say it cuts ticket check-in and security to 10 seconds at each stop — you need to have pre-submitted passport information and be a TSA PRE member flyer — hope it works and really does speed up the check in and security lines!!!

Ok — here it is: “AHA” …. Yup — name for a new regional carrier that will be based in Reno and provide service to smaller regional west coast cities — by the way, AHA is short for AIR HOTEL ADVENTURE — Airline ….we’ll see how long this flies.

CHICAGO — 7th year running — as rated by Orkins top US rat cities. Other cities that made the list include; Los Angeles, New York, Washington D.C. and San Francisco … the report also notes “be careful as these critters are exhibiting aggressive new behavior.”
Delta makes boarding a flight … easy?
Yup — not quite as planned, but Delta did board a Sacramento to LAX flight with NO flight crew on board — cockpit or flight attendants — passengers commented that “it was much quicker and easier” that way!!! Would seem Delta gate agents and flight crews need a refresher course in “communication” with each other???
Venice wants to control tourist visits?
Yup — a “controversial” crowd control plan is being discussed that would limit the number of daily tourist visits — maybe a reservation system — and charge a daily “visit rate” depending on time of day and visit season — surveillance cameras are already in place throughout the city and officials are also considering cell phone tracking!!!

According to Lonely Planet — New Mexico — Arizona — and Utah — states were selected because of their scenery, park networks and facilities for outdoor van campers … makes sense!!!

The original bridge was built in 1907 and has been stored in Ashdown Forest in East Suesex — Disney paid for a new bridge some years ago (explains those new ticket prices) after the original bridge was said to be “worn down” by heavy visitor traffic. The bridge is 29 feet long and 15 feet wide — and expected to sell for around $300,000 US dollars …. what fun to have in the backyard
