Looks that way — different pricing packages (for not only the cruise but onboard activities and tours as well) based on if passengers are fully vaccinated or not —gotta have both vaccinations too enjoy all the benefits and perks.
Didn’t last long — Frontier Airlines tried adding a “COVID RECOVERY” fee on to ticket prices — immediate social media backlash canceled that fee very quickly — shame shame shame Frontier!!!
YUP! Mostly due to flight crew staffing issues with not enough flight crews to staff current schedules. Flights are being canceled — more than 300 a day system wide – and it might be that way until end of summer. Some crews even need to go through re-certification since they been ground for several months — other carriers might be starting to experience similar problems!!!
Maybe — the US government is fining Air Canada a “whopping” 25 MILLION US dollars for not providing refunds to US travelers holding Air Canada tickets during COVID — checks in the mail???
Delta says “air travel is back” heading past 80% of pre-pandemic travel — and that’s without much International travel. Now, what’s their “payback” on all those COVID government loans $$$$’s — do all US carriers have that to face — or not???
YUP … some hotels (like Hilton) are adding a “daily house-keeping” fee to your bill — extra source of revenue to pay for all those COVID closed days? Be sure to ask at check in — and let them know “that’s excessive and won’t pay!!
Maybe — all depends on supply and demand — most rental car companies sold off most of their rental fleets during COVID months — Hertz dumped more than 200,000 cars on the used car market —- now with demand up and car supply down they can easily charge $200-$300 a DAY for a rental —doesn’t seem fair does it???
US airlines are “holding” more than TEN BILLION DOLLARS in unused COVID canceled flight tickets —many with expiration dates now coming quickly. Hopefully airlines will extend expiration dates at least another year???
United says the huge post-pandemic travel surge is here to stay — and showed how serious they were — by ordering 270 single-aisle jets from Boeing and Airbus — the biggest aircraft purchase by a U.S. airline in a decade!!! United says they will also add more than 25,000 new ground, flight and support staff to service their expansion — and is expected to spend more than $36 BILLION to support new growth!!!
